Recipe Discovery Mobile App

Overview

A warm, appetizing recipe app that helps home cooks find something to make and start cooking with confidence. A sunny yellow palette and food first photography give the experience a friendly, energetic feel.

The Challenge

Recipe apps are full of content, and users can feel lost before they even start cooking. The design needed to make browsing quick, show key details like rating, difficulty, and cooking time at a glance, and keep the ingredient list easy to follow.

The Solution

The home screen pairs a simple search and filter bar with category chips, popular recipe cards, and a most viewed list. The recipe detail screen leads with a large hero image, then adds a servings counter that adjusts the ingredients, and tabs that separate ingredients from the method.
